Woman dies in Wirral crash

A 25-YEAR-old woman has died after her Vauxhall Corsa hit a coach earlier today.

The accident happened on the A41 New Chester Road, in Eastham, Wirral at around 8.20am.

It is thought the Corsa hit the Shearings coach which was traveling in the opposite direction.

Firefighters were called to the scene and helped police remove the woman from her vehicle.

The driver of the coach and two passengers were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The road remains closed in both directions between Bridle Road and the junction with the B5132 Eastham Village Junction.
