Shortlist announced for Wirral Investment Network business awards

THE shortlist for Wirral’s premier annual business awards has been announced by Wirral Investment Network (WiN).

Eleven awards will be presented during a celebration dinner at Birkenhead School on Friday, July 17.

The event is sponsored by The Mersey Partnership, Lees Lloyd Whitley Solicitors and Egerton House Wirral Ltd.

The awards, sponsors and nominees are Business Start of the Year – Wirral Biz (CDO, Webtise, Wirral TV), SME of the Year Cull Micro Imaging (Pharmapac, Seasoned Pioneers, The Contact Company), Business of the Year T-Systems (Cammell Laird Shiprepairers and Shipbuilders, Scantec Personnel, Stiebel Eltron),Business Person of the Year Peel Holdings (David Robinson, Frank Rogers, John Robinson),Young Business Person of the Year The Contact Company (Anthony Fury, Carl Mannion, Jamie Anderson), Corporate Social Responsibility Award Unilever (Egerton House, Stiebel Eltron, Trustland), The Janet Triggs Award for Creativity and Innovation ICE (Artemis, K2 Aluminium, Seasoned Pioneers),Investment of the Year Smith and Son (Leverhulme Hotel, JHS Property, T-Systems),Environmental Award Groundwork Merseyside (Roy Hankinson Group, Stiebel Eltron, Unilever),Excellence in Training & Skills Development Wirral Met College (Construction Systems, Roy Hankinson, Wirral Partnership Homes)

The ceremony also includes Wirral Council’s "Think Big" award, awarded to the business judged to have done to most to improve the reputation of Wirral’s business community.
