Free health checks in Birkenhead
THE Health Challenge Wirral team are carrying out free health checks in Birkenhead on Tuesday.
The team will be outside the Aldi store in Laird Street between 10am and 3pm, where they will be taking height, weight and BMI (body mass index) measurements, offering advice and support around healthy lifestyles.
There will also be healthy recipe giveaways and fruit kebabs to try.
Health Challenge Wirral was launched earlier this year to support individuals and families to make one or more lifestyle changes.
