WE’RE ready to Spring into summer after seeing all your seasonal photos!

Entries have come in thick and fast since we announced our Picture Spring competition three weeks ago.

Many of your photos showed blue skies and flowers blooming and really captured the idea of Spring as a season of growth and renewal – and those all-important warmer temperatures.

But there can only be one winner, and our photographic team picked this shot of the church of St Bartholomew in Thurstaston, taken by Tim Brown of Heswall. He wins a £50 voucher for Fairs Cameras in Rock Ferry.

A delighted Tim, 47, said: “I’m an amateur photographer – you could say a hobbyist.

“I saw the crocuses in front of the church while I was out on a walk and I thought it would make a good one for the competition.

“It’s the first time I’ve won something for my photography.”
