WIRRAL TV is looking to recruit 15 people for a new course to be held in Birkenhead.
The course is open to anyone over 18 and the organisation is particularly interested in individuals who are currently unemployed and who would like to explore making a new career in film and media.
It will be held at Royal Standard House in Birkenhead, will run for two days a week for three months and concentrate on the practical art of film making. The skills developed and learned will include camera setup, editing, presenting, journalism and broadcasting law.
Tutors are professionals who between them have made hundreds of short films and will be supplementing their team with other professionals and guest speakers.
An open day is being held at Royal Standard House, New Chester Road, Birkenhead, at 10am on Monday, February 16 for people interested.
