Š Today Jane said: "This is a really exciting job for me and I am looking forward to building on what Sue has achieved and putting together great newspapers for the people of Wirral.

Š “Local papers are vital to our communities. We are there to bring you the important news stories, cover the issues that matter and stand up for our readers.

“If it matters to Wirral, it should be in our papers.

“Big or small, from front pages to what's on events, we aim to have it covered.
