Cocaine is focus of new anti-drugs campaign in Wirral

IMPORTANT messages about cocaine misuse will feature in a new anti-drugs campaign being spearheaded by Wirral Drug and Alcohol Action Team.

The team will be co-ordinating It’s Your Life, Don’t Blow It during the festive season and early part of 2009, to raise awareness about the dangers and health implications associated with taking cocaine.

The increasing prevalence of cocaine use in Wirral is a reflection of what is happening in cities and towns throughout the UK.

A local freephone 24/7 helpline ACT 0800 028 1300 will direct callers to help and advice and where to get treatment.
