A UNIQUE wall hanging created by members of the public who visited an interactive exhibition is to be permanently displayed at Birkenhead Priory later this month.
Potter Janet Holmes invited visitors to her Fired exhibition in September to add their own markings to pre-prepared clay tiles.
A wall hanging has now been created from their work, comprising nearly 70 individual tiles, and will be unveiled at Birkenhead Priory this Saturday from 12noon.
Janet said: “I was thrilled at the public’s response. The Fired exhibition was a personal success but it’s so exciting that it has also produced something so beautiful.
“An everlasting work of creative spontaneity and my greatest hope is that everyone who contributed to the wall hanging will have discovered something of their own hidden depths and talents.”
