Collaboration between Remploy and CPL Training in Wirral is hailed a success

A LONG term collaboration between Remploy and CPL Training has been hailed a success, bringing more than 55 Wirral-based learners back into full-time employment.

Up to 200 people have undergone training under the Wirral ESF project, 70 of whom were given security training through CPL.

A bespoke training package was developed for each delegate, with the aim of initiating the beginnings of a long-term career path.

Upon completion of the training, CPL and Remploy have now placed nearly 80% of delegates in long term employment locally.

Gary Bennett, business development manager of CPL Training, said: “This scheme has been a huge success because we go that extra step for our learners, giving them the extra help, support and advice that they need to succeed in the workplace.”
