Wirral’s Walton sextuplets celebrate their 25th birthday with family party

WIRRAL’S Walton sextuplets have just celebrated their 25th birthday.

The sisters, the world’s first surviving all-female sextuplets, were born at Liverpool’s Oxford Street women’s hospital in November 1983.

Hannah, Luci, Ruth, Sarah, Kate and Jennifer marked their birthday with a family party at the house where they grew up in Wallasey.

Janet, 55, said: “We have had separate parties for the girls in the past to make them feel special but we have decided to celebrate this one altogether.”
