THE Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, Wirral News and the Grange and Pyramids Shopping Centre are once again working together to provide a special way to remember lost loved ones at Christmas through the Light Up A Life Christmas Appeal.
Light Up A Life invites supporters to sponsor a light on one of the dedicated Light Up A Life trees in St Werburgh’s Square.
Family and friends will be invited to watch the lightsŠbeing switched on during a service of celebration and remembrance on Thursday, December 11 at 6.30pm.
All money raised from the appeal will help the foundation in its mission to defeat lung cancer – the UK’s biggest cancer killer.Š
David Thomas, of Heswall, who lost both his parents to lung cancer, will perform the switch-on ceremony.
He ran the London Marathon in April to raise vital funds for Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.Š
