THERE’S a chance of a lifetime awaiting up to four young career professionals from Wirral.
Rotary Clubs across the borough are looking for young and energetic professionals to be whisked to the Far East to join a study team on a tour to Japan, lasting five weeks, in 2009.
The Rotary Group Study Exchange Programme is a cultural and vocational exchange for business and professional people between the ages of 25 and 40, who have at least two years experience in their chosen field or profession. Successful applicants will be hosted by local families and will receive a travel grant.
During the tour, which takes place between November 1 and December 5 2009, four team members will observe their vocations as practised in the Saitama area of Japan, develop personal and professional relationships and exchange ideas.
The Rotary Club of Birkenhead wants to sponsor people with energy and initiative who can represent this area as well as contribute to understanding between cultures.
