New gardens in Noctorum opened by Birkenhead MP Frank Field

RESIDENTS of Needham Crescent in Noctorum can look forward to next summer – with a new patio and barbecue area.

Developed by Wirral Partnership Homes, the garden improvements were officially opened by Birkenhead MP Frank Field.

Resident Mary Lawless said: “Everyone involved has been so helpful, taken my ideas and made them real. The patio is fantastic, it’s got full wheelchair access and will help us communicate better, promote neighbourliness and a build community spirit.”

WPH chief executive Brian Simpson added: “Improvements to the local environment were highlighted as the top concern for our residents in Noctorum, as part of our Neighbourhood Plan.”

Mr Field visited the garden with Cllrs George Davies and Denise Roberts.
