Neston-born Aileen Edwards celebrated her 100th birthday with her proud family

AILEEN Edwards celebrated her 100th birthday surrounded by more than 30 members of her proud family.

The Neston-born mother of four enjoyed a big party to mark the milestone.

Mrs Edwards is a resident of Hallwood Court in Bridge Street, Neston.

She has two sons, Donald and Lewis, and two daughters, Robina and Judith, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Donald said: “I’m very proud of her. She needs help with walking and, although her body may be 100 years old her brain is about 50!”
