MORE than 70 fun-runners came together at the weekend to help a brave cancer sufferer fulfil one of her last wishes.
Theresa Churchill, of Rock Ferry, was diagnosed with inoperable cancer of the pelvis and spine in April.
The mum-of-three came up with her “wish list” after a spell in intensive care last month, including raising money for St John’s Hospice and marrying her partner of eight years, William Lennon.
Carers Ann Dagnall and Caroline Churchill helped the 43-year-old fulfil her fundraising dream by organising a fancy dress fun run, which took place on Saturday morning in Victoria Park.
Theresa, of Meadowfield Close, said: “I took very ill recently and slipped into a coma. When I came round, I asked the girls if they would help me raise money to help people in the same situation as me.”
