Two men rescued from Seacombe docks

TWO men were rescued from the water in the docks at Seacombe in the early hours of last Saturday morning.

Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service were called out to the incident at Tower Road just after midnight.

Firefighters entered the water to recover a man in his 40s.

Another man, in his 20s, was able to climb out of the docks with the assistance of firefighters.

Both men were taken to hospital where they were treated for mild hypothermia.
