Batty evening at Bidston Moss

A FREE bat walk is taking place at Bidston Moss on Tuesday, August 19, starting at 8.15pm.

The evening will be spent searching for bats and discovering the habitats and behaviour of the nocturnal mammals.

Participants will learn how bats see in the dark, what they eat and the species of bat living on Wirral.

The event, which is suitable for all the family (no dogs), will be led by Leah Black. Warm clothing and suitable footwear are essential.

Twenty places are available on a first come-first served basis.

To book call Paul Hurst on 644 4700.
