Upton residents launch blitz on litter

FRIENDS of Warwick Park in Upton have decided it’s time to get tough on litter and tidy up their park.

A group of dedicated volunteers rolled up their sleeves and put their gloves on to give the park a much-needed facelift on Wednesday night.

This is just the beginning for the newly-formed action group whose members are hoping that more people will get involved as they announce plans to encourage wildlife, clean up the pond and brighten up the park with new blooms and borders.

They also hope to celebrate the park’s past and are inviting anyone with memories or photos of days gone by to get in touch with them on 677 8983.
