Make a date with Wirral Food and Drink Festival

IN the run-up to the Wirral Food and Drink Festival, wine merchants Oddbins in Bromborough is holding a Wirral Wine Fair on Saturday, June 21 to taste more than 40 wines from around the world.

Tickets cost £12 and the tasting runs from 7- 9.30pm.

Work on the food and drink festival is well under way and this year there will be a children’s area offering a range of entertainment.

Plans are also afoot to have two demonstration areas - one for local chefs and the other for local producers, giving them the chance to explain how their artisan products are produced.
