CCTV appeal following incident at Grapes, Mathew Street
CCTV stills have been released after a Wirral man had part of his ear bitten off in a Liverpool pub.
The victim was a 38-year-old Wirral man who was assaulted from behind in what Merseyside Police says appears to be an unprovoked attack.
The incident took place in the Grapes on Mathew Street at approximately 11pm on Tuesday April 17.
The stills show two men who authorities believe may have important information relating to the attack.
Police say they are continuing to investigate the incident and are appealing to the men shown in the images to come forward.
l Anyone who thinks they may recognise the men are also asked to contact St Anne Street CID via 0151 709 6010 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111
