Essential work will close roads

UNITED Utilities is carrying out essential work in Mount Road, Bebington to replace a section of pipework.

The work started last Friday and is expected to take two weeks to complete.

During the work Mount Road will be closed from its junction with Resthill Road to its junction with junction 4 M53.

The alternative route for traffic will be Broadway, Kings Road, Teehey Lane, Heath Road, The Village, Church Road, Brimstage Road and vice versa.

Diversion signs for traffic will be in place for the duration of the work.

Access will be maintained for residents and businesses and to the landfill site.
