CHILDREN can join in with Wirral's first Food and Drink Festival by attending aspecial teddy bears picnic.
The picnic, whichwill be hosted by Claire House and Rose's Tearooms in Heswall, will allow youngsters - accompanied by their teddybears - totuckinto fun but healthy food at a reasonable price.
Children attending the festival with their parents can also learn about having fun with food with the Junior Chef 's Academy.
Reeseheath College will be bringing along its very own cow to show how milk is produced.
Abi Smith, fundraiser at Claire House, said: "Wethink a teddy bears' picnic is a great idea for children coming to the festival.
"We're hoping to have a coconut shy and we'll be playing all sorts of traditional and family games.
"To avoid disappointment, call us and leave a message sowe know you are coming, but also feel free to turn up on the day and book in for a picnic."
Thefestival, which is runentirely by volunteers for the benefit of the region, will take place at Claremont Farm on Sunday, August 27 and Monday, August 28.
