ANN, Laura, Kay and Sue at Bebington Podiatry would like to thank all our patients for generously raising £270 for our charity of 2011, the RNLI.
This money was raised by patients paying 10p to borrow a novel, and has been split equally between Hoylake and New Brighton lifeboat stations.
This year's charity will be Wirral carers.

LAST week I attended Wallasey School for their production of Blood Brothers.
The performers were first class in what I feel is a difficult show to portray, and a few of the audience were actually crying at the poignant part.
Away from the stage, students were doing many supporting roles with just as much enthusiasm. Many of the audience were pupils or friends of the cast who also behaved impeccably.
Well done to the pupils and staff, who, as well as producing an entertaining evening, showed the huge amount of talent that Wirral has to offer.

I DO agree with recent letters saying that Labour, the Conservatives and the Lib Dems are all the same.
Most crucially these parties are as one in continuing to pretend that being in the EU is inevitable and good for us (as do the Greens).
The reality is that the great European dream has turned into a disastrous and costly nightmare.

ALL this fuss at Wirral Council is so embarrassing. I used to take pride in living here.
Once upon a time I could tell my relatives of our beautiful coast and impressive history and culture.
All now tarnished by squabbling among our councillors elected to represent us. We know the causes, must we go around in circles for years? Please, please decide on a solution and get this borough sorted out.
