Wirral Letters: Shortpoints March 23

HAVING recently cared for my elderly aunt in her own home, I would like to mention how lucky we are in Wirral to have such a wonderful, dedicated and professional team of district nurses.

Nothing was too much trouble for them.

They called morning and evening, with several extra calls both in the day and during the night when they were required.

Without exception, they were all lovely and cared for us as a family as well as for my aunt.

It was my aunts’ wish to remain at home, and without the help of the district nurses my cousin and I would have been unable to fulfil this wish. Even as my aunt passed away they were fantastic and so helpful.

To the nurses I would like to say a big “thank you – you are marvellous”.

I FELT I had to write to congratulate the pupils and teachers at Wallasey School for what was an excellent performance of We Will Rock You.

The show was absolutely fantastic and the pupils were so professional, it was well worth the money.

Once again, well done Wallasey School!!

I AM just writing to thank you very much for publishing details of That's Love, four times for us.

Many thanks to all the people who came along. We raised the fantastic amount of £1,100.

A big thank you as well to Bebington Dramatic Society, for putting on yet another truly wonderful play!

The raffle was won by Adrian Cairns, who took home champagne. Thank you,
