Vandalism of Port Sunlight’s Hillsborough memorial was “despicable disrespect”

THE vandalising of the Hillsborough memorial in Port Sunlight was a piece of despicable disrespect for the 96 people who lost their lives.

As this is the most serious piece of vandalism in the village, but not the only one, maybe CCTV cameras can be installed near key areas, even if it means having a few less spying on speeding traffic.

I wondered what those brave soldiers who gave us our freedom today would think of it?

Not all, but a lot, of the youth of today are hooded cowards who resort to knife attacks and vandalism and frankly we need to come down hard on them.
