Wirral libraries should open on Wednesdays

IT is such a relief to know that our libraries may have a reprieve.

One only has to spend some time in the various branches to realise the value they have to the community. This value goes far beyond the lending of books.

The only small criticism that I have of our libraries is that they all close on Wednesdays.

I wonder if they might consider staggering their closing days.

This would ensure that we have coverage for the whole week.

Apart from that – carry on the good work!
