Councillors have betrayed voters over Hoylake Library closure

HOW wonderful that Steve Foulkes and Simon Holbrook are revelling in the praise from the independent watchdog on managing finance

The people they represent are deeply unhappy and feeling betrayed by the closure of old folks’ homes in Hoylake and West Kirby and now, to rub salt in the wounds, Hoylake Library.

I hope future councillors can reverse these diabolical decisions.

The voices of hundreds of Hoylake’s old and young have not been listened to.

We have been betrayed by our representatives.

If they were nurses or doctors they would be struck off for lack of care.
