ZOUMANA BAKAYOGO returned to parent club Leicester City this week after rupturing an anterior cruciate ligament during his loan debut for Yeovil.
The 27-year-old former Tranmere defender was taken off in the first half of last Saturday’s 2-0 win over Birmingham after appearing to catch his studs in the turf.
“Zoumana said he just felt his knee crumble under him,” Glovers manager Gary Johnson said.
“It was innocuous, he just turned and he felt it.”
Bakayogo had made just two senior appearances for Leicester, both in the Capital One Cup, since joining the Foxes from Tranmere last summer.
He played 146 games for Rovers between 2009 and 2013.
