ANDY THORN’S second game in charge of Kidderminster Harriers produced an FA Cup upset as his Conference team defeated League promotion hopefuls Peterborough 3-2 in a third round replay at London Road.
“I couldn’t be more proud of the players,” said former Tranmere defender Thorn, who won the FA Cup with Wimbledon I’m 1988.
“The fans were fantastic but the players deserve an unbelievable amount of credit.
“It’s been a competition I have been lucky in, although I didn’t think we were lucky on the night.”
Thorn must now prepare his team for a money-spinning fourth round visit to Sunderland next weekend.
