TRANMERE will face a Peterborough team smarting from one of the worst FA Cup defeats in the club’s history when they travel to London Road on Saturday.
Conference Premier club Kidderminster Harriers, managed by former Rovers defender Andy Thorn, defeated the Posh 3-2 in a third round replay, earning the chance to meet Premier League giants Sunderland.
The result followed four straight League One defeats for Peterborough, who have fallen outside the play-off zone.
Posh manager Darren Ferguson said: “It was a very bad result on a very bad night for us. We have failed to take a great opportunity to reach the fourth round and face a Premier League team.
“Things don’t seem to be happening for us at the moment.”
