BRENTFORD manager Uwe Rosler has accused Tranmere defender Adam Dugdale of spitting at striker Will Grigg during Saturday’s League One game at Prenton Park.
But the German does not plan to take the matter further.
Rosler said: “I think that’s the worst thing that can happen to a professional footballer on the field.
“I wouldn’t mind a mistimed tackle, but what he did was out of order.
“After studying the footage it’s clear. He should be ashamed of his behaviour.
“We won’t go to try and get him punished. The referee and his assistants missed it, but from our side we won’t take any action.
Dugdale has denied spitting at Grigg.
Tranmere manager Ronnie Moore said: “If I had seen that he had done it he would’ve been fined, but he says he hasn’t.”
