TRANMERE are making an early bid to boost attendance figures at Prenton Park by offering admission price reductions and special offers for games in September.
They are offering fans who buy tickets for League One home games against Stevenage (Saturday, September 7) and Brentford (Saturday September 14) a discount.
And they are cutting prices for the Johnstones Paint Trophy tie at home to Fleetwood Town on Tuesday September 3 to £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.
Tranmere attracted 4,763 people to their opening home League One game against Crawley Town, compared to an average of 6,172 over the course of 2012/13.
They are hopeful of a better figure for the visit of joint leaders Peterborough United on Saturday.
Chief Executive Mick Horton said: “We’re aware we’ve got a lot of home games coming up in a short space of time so we hope this offer will help our supporters.
“We’ve reduced our prices for the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy tie against Fleetwood Town and hopefully that, together with the offer for the Stevenage and Brentford games, will make it easier for our fans to come along.”
Adults purchasing tickets for both September League fixtures at the same time on or before Friday, September 6 will get £5 off the Brentford match, while all concessions will get £2.50 off the Brentford match.
The offer is not available on the turnstiles.
For the Fleetwood tie, full paying adults purchasing match tickets in advance from the from the ticket office or club shop will be entitled to a free junior ticket.
The kick-off is at the earlier time of 7pm.
