CHESTER 1 TRANMERE 0: TRANMERE were knocked out of the Cheshire Senior Cup in front of a crowd of 800 at the Exacta Stadium

Shaun Garnett’s side included professionals David Amoo, Cole Stockton, Danny Harrison, Jake Kirby, Michael Kay, Jason Mooney and Paul Black.

Rovers had opportunities through Kirby, Stockton and Amoo before an extra-time strike by George Horan took the home side through.
