A fiver to get in at Tranmere Rovers

TRANMERE have reduced the admission price for all stands, home and away to £5 for Friday’s League One game against Shrewsbury Town (7.45pm) and hope the special offer will encourage a large and noisy crowd into Prenton Park.

Manager Ronnie Moore said: “When we did a similar offer for the MK Dons game in November we had more than 10,000 people in the ground and the atmosphere was great, even though we hardly got a kick in the first half and lost the game. Hopefully we can get another big crowd this time and give them the result everyone wants.”
