Widnes Moorfield under-14s are on the up

WIDNES Moorfield under-14s would like to thank MLR Networks Ltd for very kindly sponsoring a new set of tracksuits for the team. Pictured in their new tracksuits are the 19 man squad, alongside coaches Chris Heyes, Mike Rice and Dave Brady.

Ste Wood, Director of MLR Networks Ltd and his father Brian Wood, were both keen to support the boys, and the coaches at Widnes Moorfield would like to say a huge thank you to them both for their very kind generosity.

Widnes have recently completed their first summer season following the transition from the winter season.

They compete in the North West Counties Premier Division.

They finished in 4th place, in what is a fiercely competitive league.

They also had excellent cup runs, getting to the semi-final of the North West Counties Cup and were cruelly denied a spot in the BARLA National Cup Semi Finals, with a marginal loss to West Hull earlier this year.
