TRANMERE will be wearing shirts with a special charity logo in the League One game at Chesterfield today – and offering fans the chance to make them their own.
The claret and blue kit will feature shirts carrying the Help the Hospices logo. The shirts will then be auctioned on eBay to raise funds for Claire House and St John’s Hospice.
Rovers will also be holding a grand collection at the Leyton Orient game at Prenton Park on Saturday, March 10 to raise further funds for the two Wirral charities.
Tranmere’s chief executive Mick Horton said: “This season’s Football League nominated charity is Help the Hospices.
“This Saturday marks the start of Help the Hospices Week in which all 72 Football League clubs will be involved. We are getting involved by wearing shirts that will have the Help the Hospices logo. Afterwards the shirts will be offered for auction on eBay and all the proceeds will go to Claire House and St John’s Hospice.”
