FORMER Tranmere full-back Aaron Cresswell is looking to build a long-term future at Ipswich. The 22-year-old, who left Rovers for Portman Road last summer, has just bought a house in the area.
He said: “It was a bit daunting for me when I first moved down here but I’m settled in Ipswich and want to commit to the area.
“Things are going really well for me, both on and off the pitch, and feel at home here.”
Cresswell has extended his initial Town contract until 2015 with an option for a further season. The Liverpudlian cost the Blues a tribunal-set fee of £240,000 rising to £520,000 after various milestone clauses.
