Tranmere Rovers FC star Adam McGurk’s goal nominated for award

TRANMERE’S Adam McGurk has been nominated for an award for his Johnstone’s Paint Trophy goal against Chesterfield.

McGurk’s strike was in a losing cause as Rovers were beaten 4-3 in the cup-tie last month. Fans can watch footage of McGurk’s goal together with four other nominations from the same round on the JPT website – then vote.

TRANMERE have put half season tickets on sale, with prices starting at £175 for adults, £100 for seniors and young persons and £60 for juniors.

The ticket covers all League One games from Boxing Day onwards. Adult buyers qualify for a free away shirt subject to size and availability.
