YOUNG Tranmere striker Josh Macauley is knocking in the goals and taking some knocks as he moves into the second month of his loan spell with Colwyn Bay.
The 18-year-old front man from Liverpool scored Bay’s opening goal in a 2-1 away win over Chorley in the Unibond First Division North last weekend.
Bay’s other scorer was former Rovers centre back David Challinor.
The goal was Macauley’s fourth for the North Wales outfit.
Macauley, who turned professional with Tranmere during the summer, said: “I am taking a few knocks but am enjoying it.
And it is great to be scoring a few goals.”
