Pensioner trapped in Merseyside crash

A PENSIONER was trapped after a crash on a Wirral street.

Firefighters were this morning working to cut the woman free after a Vauxhall and BMW collided in Westbourne Road, West Kirby.

The crash, at 10.40am today, means Westbourne Road is currently blocked.

Merseyside Police are also at the scene.
