LEARN the traditional art of hedgelaying in a special class at Greasby Library tomorrow.
On Thursday, January 12 at 7pm there will be a talk about hedgelaying given by Paul Loughnane at the library. Tickets are free but must be booked in advance.
Then on Sunday January 22 there will be a Hedgelaying in Action session from 9.30am to 3.30pm, during which Wirral countryside volunteers will provide guidance as they lay the library hedge.
Donations to the Friends of Greasby Library will be gratefully received.
Cllr Chris Meaden, Cabinet Member for Culture, Tourism and Leisure said: “Anyone who is interested in laying their own hedge will find these sessions very useful. Once again, the volunteering instinct of Wirral people is on display for all to see.”
To book call Greasby library on 0151 677 5714.
