Great green vegetarian cookery course this Christmas

SIR Paul McCartney champions meat free Mondays, and cutting down on the amount of meat and fish you eat is one of the easiest ways to reduce your environmental impact.

But it’s no good cutting out parts of your diet without replacing them. And that’s where Wirral based cookery school ‘vegi -table’ comes in. It’s a vegetarian cookery school, which runs fun friendly classes for everyone from complete beginners to master chefs.

On November 19 they’re holding a special workshop for anyone cooking for a vegetarian this Christmas. They’ll be showing how to make posh avocado mousse, the perfect nut roast, portabella mushroom and spinach en croute, and some sensational puddings.
