JULIAN’S restaurant, nestled in a corner of Hoylake, is a friendly little hub which produces exquisite food cooked to your personal taste.
The service is impeccable as the front of house staff pander to your every need and the chef leaves his kitchen in between cooking to ensure he has satisfied your taste buds.
The warm ambience, innovative home cooked menu and fine selection of wines make this family run eaterie an ideal place for a special culinary treat.
Julian Davies and his wife Jackie opened the business four years ago after deciding to merge their talents and realise their special dream together.
Julian’s 37 years’ chefing experience is evident in the table d’hôte menu and a la carte menu which boasts unique dishes including leek and ham soup, crab claw, fillet steak, duck and a heavenly chocolate seduction cake.
Before opening the restaurant, Julian worked at the Wheatsheaf Inn, Raby - The Cow Shed - where he spent seven years as head chef and picked up the chef of the year title in the Wirral Tourism Awards.
All his food is freshly prepared or home-made each day and includes three soups and imaginatively prepared potatoes, vegetables and breads - favourites include potatoes creamed with nutmeg and cinnamon bread.
The table d’hôte menu is changed every four to six weeks and the a la carte menu three times a year to coincide with the culinary seasons.
For the past two years Jackie and the front of house team reached the finals in the Wirral Tourism Awards for the most professional waiting-on team.
The care and thought put into every aspect of this restaurant is evident from the moment you step into the door.
The new summer a la carte menu will be launched on Tuesday, June 17.
