BEBINGTON Dramatic Society will present the North West amateur premiere of a new play about Anne Boleyn later this month.
The production, penned by Howard Brenton, was first performed at the Globe on London in 2010 and 2011.
It dramatises the life and legacy of Henry VIII’s notorious second wife, who helped change the course of the nation’s history.
The play shows an Anne in love with Henry VIII – but also with the most dangerous ideas of her day.
The play will be performed at the Gladstone Theatre, Port Sunlight, from Wednesday, February 27 to Saturday, March 2 at 7.30pm.

l Bebington Dramatic Society’s next production will be brand-new comedy Wife After Death, by Rising Damp and Duty Free writer Eric Chappell.
It will be performed from June 5 to 8.
