Organisers of Leverhulme One Act Play Drama Festival appealing for more young performers

ORGANISERS of Wirral’s popular Leverhulme One Act Play Drama Festival are appealing for more entries from young performers.

The annual festival will take place from April 9 to 20 at the Gladstone Theatre, Port Sunlight.

It has youth and adult sections, with plays judged by a professional adjudicator.

The winners go forward to the regional final of the All England Drama Festival.

There are currently spaces for more youth entrants in both the intermediate (17 years and under) and junior (12 years and under) play categories.

Entries are welcomed from schools, youth drama groups and any dance and drama organisations.
