Ex-Oasis manager Alan McGee and TOWIE star Sam Faiers attend opening of Birkenhead bar Jam

FORMER Oasis manager Alan McGee was in Birkenhead last week to open new bar and live music venue Jam.

McGee, who founded Creation Records, wowed guests with a DJ set that went on into the small hours.

TOWIE star Sam Faiers also dropped into the bar, which is the latest venture by Wirral entrepreneur Geniene Reese.

She said: “The opening weekend of Jam was a huge success and the feedback I’ve received has been extremely positive.

“I’ve got some exciting things lined up for the bar in the coming months.

“I hope it’s the first stop for anyone in Wirral looking for a good night out.”

This Thursday from 8pm there will be an open mic night at Jam, hosted by Marc Kenny. All bands and musicians are welcome.
