GET some soul with Grammy-award winning legend Billy Ocean.
The musical maestro has sold more than 30 million records worldwide and is back on tour from this month.
The shows kick off on April 20 in Edinburgh and the tour comes to the Floral Pavilion Theatre, New Brighton, in June.
The star will be singing all the hits, including When The Going Gets Tough, Get Out Of My Dreams (Get In To My Car), and the Motown hit Love Really Hurts Without You.
Trinidad-born Billy was last in Wirral in 2008 and 2009 and says he loves performing here.
He said: “I am looking forward to playing at the Floral Pavilion again, I always make sure I make a stop there when I'm on tour as the crowd are always amazing.
“The audience are always there to have a good time and love to show their appreciation.
“This year I am touring all over the UK and Ireland and playing dates over the course of the year.
“Touring is always fun as I love to perform and sing to an audience.”
After huge worldwide success and with a young family at home, Billy decided to take a break and spend some time with them.
In 2007, with his children all grown up, Billy began touring again with his daughter Cherie on backing vocals.
After his successful 2008 tour Billy began to write and record again for the first time in 15 years and recorded the album Because I Love You.
