Elkie Brooks cancels rescheduled Floral Pavilion concert

ELKIE Brooks has cancelled a concert planned for this weekend at the Floral Pavilion Theatre after being taken ill.

This Sunday's show was rescheduled from a previous date after the singer fell ill.

A spokesman for the New Brighton theatre said: "The Floral Pavilion is very sorry to announce that Elkie Brooks has had a relapse and has been taken ill again.
 
"The rescheduled date for her concert at the Floral Pavilion on Sunday 4th March has therefore had to be cancelled.

"Elkie is extremely upset to cancel the show but is too ill to perform.
 
The Floral Pavilion and Elkie’s Management Team are very sorry for any inconvenience caused."
