FORMER Icicle Works frontman Ian McNabb is back in West Kirby in March.
The Liverpool singer/songwriter musician dubbed “the sweetest guy in rock ‘n’ roll” (by Creation records boss Alan McGee) will perform at the Red Door on Tuesday, March 13 – a year after his last appearance there.
He will perform classic Icicle Works tracks and a selection of solo material – plus some of his favourite anthems.
Ian has been a professional musician since the age of 15, playing at working men's clubs in the region.
The founding member of classic band the Icicle Works, his solo career has cemented his position as one of Britain's finest singer- songwriters.
His debut album This Way Up featured in Q Magazine's best albums released during Q's lifetime.
Head Like A Rock was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize and won praise from industry insiders.
Tickets for Ian McNabb at the Red Door are £10. Doors open at 7.30pm. No admissions on the night.
