POPULAR Wirral bands Luma and Insanity Beach are returning to Jack Rabbit Slims in Hoylake over the festive season.
The Beach boys are back at the Grosvenor Road venue this Friday (December 23), with Luma playing on Boxing Day.
Giraffe Resin will be gracing the stage on Friday, December 30, and Madison are bringing in 2012 on New Year’s Eve – tickets are £20.
Jacks owner Adam Coburn said: “New Year’s Eve is obviously a major night but Boxing Night is always massive for us.
“Marc Kenny from Luma plays for us very rarely because he’s so busy with other things but we’ve managed to get him on Boxing Night with the rest of the band.
“Insanity Beach are still one of the biggest pulls.”
Jacks is already mostly booked up for 2012, with a mix of old favourites and new bands.
Vertigo, Space Cadets, Kikosi, Ipanic, The Moves, Madison, The Tone Junkies and Move To the Groove are all playing in January.
Adam said: “I’ve booked right the way up to next New Year’s Eve. I get phone calls and e-mails from bands wanting to play but we always book a year ahead so we have very few spaces.
“Bands like to play here because there’s a big stage and we have the proper set-up.”
This Thursday is a special Christmas party night with music from The Angry Pirates.
Fire are playing on Christmas Eve.
